Colin Burke

Colin Burke - Principal

Colin Burke is the foundation Principal of Elevation Secondary College.

Most recently Colin was Senior Campus Principal at Mill Park Secondary College, responsible for the leadership and management of a campus of nearly 1000 students. Prior to this Colin was an Assistant Principal and Leading Teacher, performing a range of leadership roles for fifteen years.

Colin is a passionate advocate for public education and regularly runs leadership development workshops for aspiring teacher leaders and new teachers. Colin is passionate about providing the community with a school that matches their high aspirations in education.

Angela Lane

Angela Lane - Assistant Principal

Angela Lane has performed a wide range of leadership roles in her previous setting, including: SEAL Program Coordinator, House Leader and Learning Specialist. Angela has a breadth of experience in educational leadership combined with a passion for helping all students to achieve their potential. She studied at both La Trobe University and the University of Melbourne and volunteers extensively with the State Emergency Service (SES). Currently, Angela is the Assistant Principal for Community Engagement, Inclusion & Wellbeing.

Lexia Collins - Business Manager

Lexia is an experienced Business Manager with over 8 years’ experience working in schools. Prior to this Lexia worked extensively in the private sector in Finance and Accounting in both Australia and the United Kingdom.

Kyle Shutz

Kyle Schutz - Assistant Principal

Kyle is a music teacher who at his previous school led a large music department for a number years before moving into Student Engagement and Wellbeing roles including Coordinator and Leading Teacher for Years 7, 8, 10 and VCE. This involved significant work internally with student pathways planning and externally by creating relationships with alternative and post-school education providers to create opportunities for every student. In the wider community, Kyle was also the Victorian Chair for the Australian Society for Music Education. Kyle is currently the Assistant Principal for Positive Climate for Learning Pathway and Senior School.

Sonia Loudon

Sonia Loudon - Assistant Principal

Sonia is a Science and Legal Studies teacher with significant school leadership and curriculum development experience.  She holds a Masters Degree in Education from Harvard University and runs a charity that connects Victorian secondary school students with professional work experience. She has worked as an external examination assessor for VCAA and created revision lectures and practice exams for several VCE preparation organisations. Sonia is currently the Assistant Principal for Excellence in Teaching and Learning.

Andrew Stock - Assistant Principal

Andrew Stock has performed a number of leadership roles across both government and private schools. He is renowned for his expertise in student wellbeing and engagement, recognising the crucial role these two concepts play in the holistic development of students. He demonstrates an unwavering commitment to high expectations, with proven results fostering positive learning environment across multiple settings. Andrew champions the growth of all students, ensuring individuals thrive academically, socially and emotionally. At present, Andrew is the Assistant Principal for Positive Climate Learning Pathways for Junior and Middle School.
